Can I use Hessler natural lime insulation plaster (HP 9SL) to insulate existing plaster?

Yes, Hessler natural lime insulation plaster can be used to apply an insulation coating subsequently provided that the existing plaster is solid enough. This is not possible with gypsum plaster because it cannot control the formation of moisture caused by a dew point shift.
