For us, tradition and family are not just part of our history, but also a commitment to the future. As a manufacturer of building materials, we feel obliged to offer you products that are durable, eco-friendly and, as far as possible, free of chemical additives. In short: the kind of products we would use to build our own family homes. To meet this challenge, we have been using limestone extracted from our own quarry for our products for more than 130 years. And all this in a production environment where everyone from employee to managing director is highly aware of the need for quality and sustainability.
We do not only promise premium quality but also deliver it. We continuously test our products in our on-site laboratory and have them tested by independent certification bodies.
We do not use any harmful additives in our lime clay plaster and only use natural binders which give our products their unique properties.
A Good Indoor Climate Through Healthy Building
At home, we want to feel comfortable and secure. Alongside light, colour and furnishings, the materials we use and their ingredients also shape the atmosphere of a room. A comfortable indoor climate includes suitable temperatures, balanced humidity and sufficient ventilation.
For us, the thoughtful design of living spaces begins with the composition of the building materials. Our pure natural lime plasters are made using selected raw materials and pared-back formulations – without cement, gypsum, synthetic binders or preservatives. We disclose all ingredients in full. This is what we mean by material honesty.
Our natural lime and lime–clay plasters can absorb moisture from the indoor air and release it again as humidity drops. This can help buffer short-term fluctuations in humidity. The extent of this contribution depends on the plaster build-up, the final coating and the conditions within the room.
The products listed in our IQUH certificates were assessed through a documentation review covering their raw materials and the completeness of their ingredient declarations. The product certificates specify which products are covered and the criteria used for the assessment.
The Positive Properties of Lime
The high alkalinity of lime surfaces creates unfavourable conditions for mould growth. Appropriate moisture protection, heating and ventilation remain essential to help prevent mould.

Improved thermal regulation through the natural thermal properties of natural lime plaster (bulk density: 1,400 kg/m³).
Lime is naturally alkaline (pH 9–13). This creates unfavourable conditions for mould growth.
We extract the limestone for our natural hydraulic lime, as well as sands, from our own quarry. Up to 90% of our production takes place in-house.
Aesthetics: Natural lime plaster offers an attractive matt finish and a wide range of design possibilities.
