HP 9KH Natural Lime Hemp Base Plaster is used as base coat for indoors (including damp rooms) and outdoors. For outdoor use, please note: HP 9KH is not hydrophobised.

HP 9KH can be applied to all types of masonry, as well as to rough-sawn concrete, pumice concrete and poured concrete. In the case of highly absorbent substrates and very warm weather, sufficient pre-wetting is required. It may be necessary to wet the plaster with water after application.

Concrete surfaces must be provided with HP 14 Kalkhaftputz (Natural Adhesive Lime Plaster) applied with a toothed trowel. After sufficient curing, HP 9 KH is applied by spraying at a thickness of approx. 10 mm.

Surfaces to be tiled must be plastered with HP1 Kalk-Zementputz (Lime-Cement Plaster).
